KAB 4th Quarter Newsletter

KAB is proud to share our new and improved newsletter format.  This is an e-magazine which is interactive with links, videos, and more.  Click on the magazine cover to pull it up, and then you can click on the two arrows on the top left side of your screen to view it in full screen mode.  The entire publication can be downloaded or printed with links on the left side.  We hope you enjoy this new online format.

Albertville Rotary Club Receives Grant for Graham Park

The Albertville Rotary Club has received a $5000 grant to to add more playground equipment to Graham Park.  Keep Albertville Beautiful is grateful for the efforts of the Albertville Rotary Club and will be contributing $1,000 in additional funds for this very important project.

KAB Announces Plans for America Recycles Day Events

Keep Albertville is planning two events for America Recycles Day:

Where: Albertville-Boaz Recycling Center
Time: 3:00 – 5:00 pm
Albertville Lions Club will be accepting eye glasses
Secure Shred will be accepting personal and business documents
Clothing can be brought for Second Chance
We will be accepting paper-and hardback books for the Albertville Rotary Club

We will be taking all other recyclables normally accepted through the Recycling Program including:

  • newspapers
  • magazines
  • telephone books
  • office and junk mail
  • all types of cardboard
  • shredded paper
  • plastics
  • metal
  • aluminum
  • glass
  • electronic
  • styrofoam

Get Caught Recycling #getcaughtrecycling

Where: Businesses all around Albertville (be ready, it could be YOU!)

We are partnering with Keep America Beautiful for the annual Recycling@Work Day and will be visiting local businesses and checking in on how you are doing in your recycling efforts.  Keep Albertville Beautiful board members and volunteers will show up at random businesses throughout the day on November 15.

Do you have an active recycling program at your business and would like us to pay a visit on Tuesday, November 15th?  Fill out our Recycling@Work Day contact form.   Add hashtags #keepalbertvillebeautiful and #getcaughtrecycling to your social media pages to join in the fun.

There will be a prize awarded at the end of the day for the business that is making the largest impact within our city by recycling.

First Annual Christmas Poinsettia Sale Underway

Our first annual Christmas poinsettia sale is underway!  These will be full, red poinsettias in 10″ pots.  Price is $15.00 each  You may contact a Keep Albertville Beautiful board member or purchase using the direct Paypal button below.

Pickup will be on Saturday, December 3rd from 8:00 am – 10:00 am at the Train Depot in downtown Albertville.
